EBARA Corporation received two orders for biomass power plants in Japan. Both plants will produce green power from wood chips applying EBARA's ICFB Fluidized Bed Boiler technology. Hita Wood Power Co will produce 12 MW power from approx. 390 t of wood chips per day, while the plant at Shirakawa Wood Power Co will generate 11.5 MW from about 370 tons per day of similar feed. Both plants will start production in autumn 2006.
25. Feb 05:
EBARA Corporation received an order for a TwinRec gasifciation and ash melting plant from Shiga Central Area Clean Union in Hino City, Shiga, Japan. The plant will have a capacity to recover 180 tons per day of municipal solid waste in three process lines. Operation is scheduled to start April 2007.
15. April 04:
EBARA Corporation (Tokyo, Japan) received an order for a 550 t/d TwinRec
gasification plant from Tokyo Rinkai Recycle Power Corp. for treatment of
various industrial waste materials. The plant will be part of Tokyo’s “Super
Eco Town” project, located on an island in the Tokyo Bay.
